Contributing code
Pledger.io is developed as Open Source project in peoples spare time. If you have a good idea or suggestion and have some coding experience feel free to contribute to the project. When contributing please keep the following in mind:
-
If you want to fix a bug you found, please first report it using the GitHub. Link the issue to the PR so all developers know the context of what you are attempting to fix.
-
When contributing new functionality please describe it in the PR, also include the rationale behind it and if you looked at alternative solutions for the same rationale. This will help determine if and how your PR benefits all users of Pledger.io.
-
Make sure that all changes have tests to verify the functionality. PRs with untested code will not get accepted.
-
Keep each PR as small as possible. Do not combine multiple functionalities or bugs in a single PR.
All contributed code to Pledger.io will be licensed under the MIT license.
